HELP!
I need a dress. We’re taking engagement photos in a month, and I need something flattering, comfortable enough to move around in, and solid. (Aren’t you supposed to do solids?) Anyway, I would prefer pink, as that’s just so me, but I’m open to other colors. any suggestions of dresses or place to look?

FINALLY!
Something has happened!
We signed our photographer. If you’re thinking about a Southern, East Coast wedding, you should check out Jerina Boylston. She’s amazing, sweet, and VERY reasonable. We cannot wait to work with her!

I tried on my wedding dress again today to make sure it was the right one. It definitely was. We order it this week. It makes me feel… like a bride, and I love every second of wearing it.

These past couple of weeks have been a test-filled blur. But after finishing piano today, I feel a lot lighter. I won’t think about Music History on Tuesday right now…
Anyway.
The beau gets here tomorrow, and we’re spending the weekend away and looking at another wedding venue. We’re really hoping this is it. We’re even staying there because it’s also an inn and was really cheap! I’m looking forward to having some time together. The first week in January feels like it was a really long time ago. So here’s to hoping we can get some wedding stuff done and also have a romantic weekend away together. I hope he likes his valentine!

I’m probably getting a dog for Christmas this year.
The beau does not want a puppy on our happy day. (This is the pouty way I say it to try to convince him.)

Okay. Confession time. I am slightly obsessed with flamingos. Like… I pretty much love them. A lot. I found these cake toppers here, and while I’m pretty positive I won’t actually use them, I am in love. Completely precious.
The second picture was taken by the beau at Zoo Atlanta the day after my 22 birthday. Notice the ecstatic expression. We actually got many a flamingo shot. I made him take some on the way in AND on the way out. (Like I said… obsessed.)

I think I’ve found my shoes. I want to order them and wear them around for a while with gel pads to make sure I can stand heels, even though I’m more of a flats girl. But they’re so adorable and I love them a lot! I think they would look awesome with my dress, and match the overall tone without overpowering anything.

These are some of the invitations we’re toying around with from Wedding Paper Divas. The big text would be pink, and the rest would be navy. I love them because they’re the right mix of fun for me and clean simplicity for him. So fun!

Emailing the venue today about a walk-through. Found out the beau’s tax return should cover a good portion of the festivities, so that’s a load off. Continuing to work my butt off at the gym… I NEED to order that dress just a little smaller. Got my first issue of Bride Magazine yesterday and I LOVE it! (I have an amazing TB.)
That’s about it. I think once we find a venue things will get a little more interesting around here.

Minor freakout
Realized today that we have 58 weeks. I know that’s still a long time, but to not have a venue, it worries me. We have a new prospect, and we’re looking when the beau comes down in February. Hopefully very soon, we’ll know where this shindig is happening. We BETTER. haha
